I have 44044's on the front of my rig right now. On the third or so trip out with them I bent one of the main leaf's right at the front of the spring. I have been thinking about taking a stock main leaf from a rear spring and replacing the 44044 main with the stock rear main. Has anybody done this? What do yall think the outcome would be? Kevin

I don't think the locating pin will be in the same place.  I think you'd have to do the same to both sides, but I'd use 1st and second leaf if it has a mil wrap.

Oh yea I would definatly do both side's not just one. I am not sure if it would hold the lift htough if I replace the top 2 spring's, they might sag quite a bit like that.
