1985 Toyota, 22r, converted to R134a, how can i discharge the A/C system to remove it?

Was told that the compressor doesn't fit the 350 so it's gotta come out for now, any ideas on discharging?

I don't want to have to get a "certified technician" to come to my house to discharge it since, no motor means no driving to have it done.

Thanks, D.

go to C.S.K. and get a fill kit(just one bottel and a hose) hook up the hose minus the can. open the valve and.....DO NOT GET ANY ON YOU. don't know what state your in, this may not be leagl

There should be at least 2 schrader valves on the a/c lines.  (the same as you use to fill your tires.)  Now comes the trucky part you need to locate the tool you use to air down your tires and put it to use letting off the pressure in the lines.

Or you can just start pulling it out and I'm pretty sure it will come out of there if you know what I mean

ya just unscrew the line gong into the cab. or if u are not going too keep it and just junk it take out ur bolt cutters and cut the main line it will keep u away and let it out in a hurry.
If you didn't make it, and it ain't broke, you didn't try hard enough.
