good 4wd shop to get work done

trying to find a shop that does good work for gears and sas for 94 yota within 100 or so miles of ventura county california using marlin products

There's always California Mini Trucks... they're in Montclair, which is probably getting real close, if not over, 100 miles away from you. But anyway, if you're willing to make the trek they are probably the best place to take your Toyota. Not sure if they'll set up gears, but I know they could do the SAS for you and probably for a pretty good price. Ask around any Toyota board, CalMini rocks. Give them a call and talk to Troy, he'll help you out. Even if you think it's too far away, he may have a suggestion for someone else to take it to. Good luck man!  :beerchug:

I was just curious how much do you think (approximately) a shop would/should charge in labor for a SAS and gear set ups?

I got a quote 5k labor and kit you provide the axle and the gears and labor another 1,200. The gear deal seems good to go i havent got another quote for the sas yet so i dont know how good a deal it is. hope it helps.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that shop... haven't had any personal experience, but from what I've heard they seem to really know their stuff...  :thumbs: So Outdoorsman, have you found a shop yet or are you still looking? Where'd you get that $5K quote from? Keep us updated!  :attention:

I have not done more research on it been real busy hunting pigs man those suckers or sneaky. And i just got a hold of a fj40 so trying to get it together. and cleaned up.
