coil over question?????
« on: Nov 15, 2006, 08:37:47 AM »
I'm getting ready to order my shocks for my new project, i have never run a 4 link set up before. can some one tell me the difference in quality between the coilover emulsion shocks and the coil over remote reservoir shocks.  will i notice a difference in ride or performance.?.?

Remote resivoir are designed for high cycling. They promote cooling of the oil within the shock so that it keeps it's characteristics throughout a "run". For a rockcrawling application there isn't much benefit of remote resivoir and they're $$.. $0.02

should be fine. The main Remote reservoir application would be baja or crazy jump trucks
