Topic: 84 Celica with good 22re

I got an 84 celica 5speed for sale that I picked up at an auction. I dont know much about it but its in fairly decent shape. It has a 22re in that runs great. Runs smooth no ticking noises or anythig like that. Good oil pressure temp etc(see pics). No water in oil doesnt smoke etc. It has a small leak from valve cover gasket though and exhaust leak from maifold. Theres newer gasket sealer on the timing cover so im assuming its had some work done in its life. The mileage is around 270k on the odometer. Make a good dd for someone or good for a motor and other parts. I have the sale papers which you can register it with and get a title with. It was an abandoned vehicle is why there is no title. Im looking at 600obo im also open to trades. These would include wheels tires or whatever. Im located in Kennewick Washington. Feel free to pm me with any questions, Thanks for looking.

LOL that looks just like my 84 celica. But mine looks a lil better. the motor is the exact same as the ones in our trucks it needs no mods. That one is a tall deck block like the pre 85 trucks but has EFI.


You should keep it, and boost it. That's When they are really fun!

if you still have it after x-mas i think ill take it but if some one offers you money for it befor then dont hold out for me ive already got one efi motor waiting to go into my truck but its all tore apart and needs a rebuild and i dont have time or money to get that motor where i want it right now, and im getting fed up with my carb
