blackdiamond

My dad named my current 1985 Truck "Blackdiamond" because it is black and being from Colorado it is a play on words for difficult ski runs.

Now that it is being replaced with the 1989 4Runner that is grey/silver I am trying to come up with a different name.  Historically, the original name sticks, as it is also our CB handle, even when the trucks change.

My Dad got the name "Yellow Jacket" with his 1971 Blazer that was the classic mustard yellow and it has stuck through a Brown and current Grey Blazers.  My grandpa was "Popcorn" because of his original white Blazer and it stuck even with the later blue Blazer.  With this in mind my CB handle will remain Blackdiamond and the truck's name needs to contain "blackdiamond" or at a minimum "bd" in it.

So far the ideas/suggestions include:

(1) bdrunner - gotrocks...my wife doesn't like this one.
(2) Blackdiamond II - the classic
(3) Double Blackdiamond - continues the play on words and the 4Runner will be upgraded to dual cases
(4) Blackdiamond - following tradition

I definitely like Double Blackdiamond.  You could even get another tailgate sticker made, modifying it slightly to put two diamonds and double on it

You mean Blackdiamond^2?

Actually, that would make sense since it would mean bd x bd and it will contain parts from both trucks.  :dunno:

Well...I was, and still am, a Matheopian (devoid of all but the most basic knowledge). What about BD2 (BD squared) as in the JD2 (small 2) benders?

I like Double Black Diamond since with a 4Runner you doubled your passenger capacity.  :yesnod:
