Restoring a 1982 TREKKER
« on: Oct 27, 2006, 07:12:01 AM »
I recently bought a 1982 Trekker and I would like to restore it. I have done numerous google searches looking for parts. I understand that it is basically a 82 truck from the cab forward. It seems that every internet parts store all have the same parts. I would like to get some feedback on the best places to log onto or call for all those "hard to find" parts. Also I would love to have some type of book or computer download of exploded diagrams and parts with Toyota part numbers to go with them. Right from the beginning I need window regulators for both windows and all I can find on the internet is regulators for windows without vents. Well, my windows have vents. Does that mean that later model toyotas like 85,86,87, etc. have the same regulator as the 82 since they both have vented windows? ANY help or advice would be APPRECIATED!! Thanks for everyone's time.

I have some window regulartors out of a set of 83 doors.  The are smooth working and what not.  I have a bunch of int. stuff, let me know what you need, and ya never know,  I might have it... :inthedark:
It goes, but is it ever finished?
