Looking for Humor at work?
« on: Oct 26, 2006, 12:06:56 PM »
Take a look at www.despair.com for some anti-motivational posters.

I ordered the custom 16 month calander to hang in my cube.  Here are a few of my favorites.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

I love the demotivators! Have you seen their webcasts??
I have two calenders, a mug and two desk toppers.
This is my personal favorite of all time...

Life is like a bowl of beer flavored chocolate covered dog turds.. it makes no sense. :pokinit:

These are the desktoppers I have. I have the MISTAKES one at work. I was going to send the POWER one to my cousin but she was having problems with her hubby not being at the same corporate level as she is and I thought it might actually hit too close to home  :

They are all so well done. People in our office didn't realize it was a demotivational calender for a really long time. One guy now makes it a point to come by and make sure I changed to the next month.
At the end of the year I'm going to cut the calenders apart and put them up for grabs (after taking my favorites of course).
Maybe I need to post them here.

I plan on cutting each one off at the end of the month and hanging them in my cube.  It will suppliment my Dilbert cartoons that I have "doctored" to match more perfectly where I work.

This kills me!
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.
