if you use 2wd  chevy S10 rear springs  then  you'll be ok,  dont try and use those thickass  63  leaves cut down  :shake:

it wouldnt,  the front springs  have very little flex  or lift

the first thing i do when building a set of hybrid springs  is  throw  all but the top 2 leaves  of the front packs  in the dumpster

Just save your money and buy some 5" springs for the front.  It pays off to do it right the first time around.

the reason i ask is. because i have alot of truck springs at my house. so i thought i could build a set of springs wheel them for about a year or so then buy some mc 5in springs. i hear that hybrid springs can be very flexy and a nice lift. for cheap.what would be the best springs to use for the pack? chevy, ford, s10 springs? i have chevys ( all but s10) fords and a set of waggy springs.

my favorites  are the 2wd f150's
