Windshield
« on: Oct 21, 2006, 08:34:26 AM »
I was wondering if any of you know if the windshield off of a 1st generation truck will fit a 2nd generation truck.  I rolled my '84 4Runner and cracked the winshield but I found a !st gen truck with a winshield and I don't know if it will fit.  Thank you in advance.  :turtle:

call a windshield shop and see if they use the same part number. My guess is that they are not interchangeable

this jsut gave me an idea, i went online and instantly got a quote, the site i saw didnt use part numbers, but said the windshield for an 81 pickup was $108 and the windshield for a 87 4runner/truck was $104

so although it isnt part numbers, price should indicate the 2 are not identical
