87 4runner Montana style
« on: Oct 20, 2006, 07:28:39 AM »
I sold my lifted subaru wagon so I could get this 87 4runner.  Heres a pic of my 1981 3in lift subaru gl wagon with many power modifications.

I sold that so I could get a solid axle yota.  I found this 87 4runner for only $2800.
This is what it looked like when I got it.

SAS out of 85 toy
7in suspension lift
3in body lift
welded rear
36x12.50x15 TSL SX's
Clinometer
Deer Basher

Then I got a front bumper a few days ago.

This is gonna be an ongoing project for a long time.  So far I've had to replace the clutch master cylinder, the alternator, the starter, and rear axle seals.  Yesterday I order my rear bumper from Marlin Crawler so that'll be the next modification to the yota.
1987 4runner:
SAS
10in of lift
36x12.50x15 TSL/SX
15x10 rock crawler rims
Deer Basher
4.88s with lock right in rear and LSD up front
Marlin Crawler rear bumper
Clinometer
