Hello all!  Been lurking around on the board for quite a while, but never posted.  I own an '85 4runner with 187k and completely stock.  It mostly gets used as a daily drive and camping vehicle.  Just got back from a week in Baja that saw four wheel drive 5-6 times but just sand.  Been thinking about trying to find/trade for a 84-85 longbed in similar conditon that I can build a camper in.  I'm pretty tall which is why I'm limiting to 2nd gen longbed, I've never driven a 1st gen, but been told I'd never fit behind the wheel.   Thanks :beerchug:!

Hey guys, thanks for all the welcome's!  I'll try to post a couple of pics from the most recent outing.  And by the way, I'm 6'4".  I used to own an '85 standard cab, no tilt, and that wasn't too bad, I've just heard that 1st gen's are fairly small inside.  The reason that I'm looking for a longbed is so that I can build a sleeping platform in the back and have storage underneath, just don't think there's enough room in the 4runner.  Thanks again.
