What size trailer does everyone have?

My trailer is hick-built, but it seems to be holding up fairly well.

I don't have anything to haul it with, but hopefully that will change one day....

It will do for now, but I have to get one of those 40 footers!

Wow, the room!

Hickbuilt trailers are great until they come apart at 70 mph. I hope you inspect that thing before you haul with it to make sure it is kosher. I know a guy who broke a trailer axle and totaled out his pull rig and the truck on the trailer in a series of violent rollovers at highway speed. I would not want to see that kind of crap happen to you.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough

Whoa.

It has mobile home axles that are nice and sturdy and I don't have far to haul, but you are right...I need to check it out more!

I have looked at it and all welds and everything that is bolted on it seem to be very strong and luckily, I have seen this hunk of steel tote some other Rockwellers!

I think the frame is okay great, just needs more gusseting.

The whole trailer could use a more substantial bed, but I am not planning on keeping this thing after I get my rig rolling on its on power....

I suppose I should keep it because it is heavy-duty.

I have everything right now, but the tow-rig. I seriously need a tow-rig.

My 4Runner is bottomed out in the rear and looks like it is ready to pop a wheelie in the front when this thing is hooked up to it with "fluffy" on the trailer.

Haha...my rig's name is not "fluffy," I just thought that was a funny name there for a second.

Anyway, thanks for the advice and comments!

Onwards with the thread!

16', including the 2' dovetail.  I'd much rather have a 20' trailer though.  Ok, I really want a 28' Gooseneck...

do you put smaller tires on it to fit it in the trailer.  I've looked at a couple of toy haulers and my runner is to wide to fit inside.  Oh and how big is your cargo area?

alwaysbroken

i run 37" mtrs and i have to compress the rear 1.5" to get it in side.. 82" is the inside width.  16'11" is the cargo area, and about 5' in the kitchen area. good for one quad.

ahh your all good.  I know a guy from Colorado that tows his 32' tripple pull out with a inclosed 14' behing that.  He is around 22000#+.  And he'll tow that from Denver to Moab.  Its all behind his new Mega Cab Dodge.

Man Always Broken looks like you got quite a bit of money in that thing that you use to haul your rig.  I personnally have a 52 foot flat deck to haul my junk around.  I also have an International flat bed truck with a 16 foot flat deck that I use also.  But then again, I have to haul mine, my wifes, and her other rig, plus, the other rig that she loves soo much.  So I kind of require something with some length.  The only rule is:  Mine always gets the back of the International.

I custom made a 3 axle boat trailer into a 32 foot 2 car hauler.  That fits my externded linked truggy x-tra cab and my brothers linked 4runner.
