my sister has heart surgury coming up in the next 2 weeks (she's 20 by the way), very rare medical condition where her heart will jump to over 200 beats per minute and refuses to come down on its own (she's been defibrilated twice now). just asking for prayers right now that the procedure goes well and that she survives it.

Mine as well.  Hope everything goes well.  I know a 19 year girl who had to have 3 open heart surgeries.  She is doing well and is on a athletic team at the college I work at now.

10 years ago that would've meant 3 months of rehab! I'm glad things worked out so well.

   Congratulations.  Hope all goes well for you and your family!

thanks yall.

the procedure they did involved sticking 4 catheters through some of her arteries so they could burn off part of the main nerve in the center of her heart, alot quicker recovery and not as dangerous as open heart surgury.
