What series?

I got a 91 toyota 4x4, 4cyl. The trans. is no good and i wanted to know the diffrence between the G and W series.

The 89-95 22rEFI G58 is a light duty trans that has a 5 bolt rear cover on the 26 spline input, "shift on the fly" planetary chain driver t-case. :mad:
The 89-95 22rEFI W56 is a heavy duty trans that has a 7 bolt rear cover on the 21 spline input, gear driven t-case :biggthumpup:
