I think that whole swap is gonna happen pretty soon, he's also getting a 3rz and linking the front at the same time.  I forget what exactly he's waiting for

Ramrod

went and looked at my new toyota last night! its not gonna be a permenant member of the herd but im going to clean it up some and try and make some money off of it while I finish building my taco.  Its an 86 sr5 4runner thats pretty clean that comes with a complete 85 front end and sas kit for pretty cheap

was that 97 a pile?

i didnt look at it but I figure if im going to spend quite a bit on a newer runner that will be expensive to fix I better get one thats nice and has pretty low miles.  im just getting this 86 more as an investment and something to cruise.  I dont know if ill even sas it, we'll see...........

Doof

thats a good point... never thought of it like that

Ramrod

If I just clean it up and put some 33's on my black rims and maybe lift it a little i could easily get $3500 for it at my school, sas it and I could probably get $4500 or more I think if its clean

Doof

that would be a good chunk of change

maybe ill start doing that, buy a semi junker, clean it up fix it up and resell it and reap the rewards

Ramrod

Doof

lol pretty much in the scheme of things

ya thats what i was thinking. thats why i asked if you were going to sas it then sell it cause you could make more off it. cool though.

Plus I dont know that all that many people are aware of the advantage of going sas either so they might not see it as worth the extra expense...
