a long time back I swapped in AC and now I just took it back out - is there something that was covering up the hold under the passenger side to stop all that freeeeeezing air from coming in besides an old shirt stuffed in there?  :ack:

yes there is.

there is a wedge shaped piece that the control cable hooks up to with a flaper valvein it and also a large diameter accordian looking plastic hose hooking the wedge thingy to the heater fan intake.

i'll take a picture of mine if you'd like.

sure, I have an aftermarket heater so I wouldn't use the hose part but if I can hook a throttle cable up to open or close the recirc deal that would be cool..
