Plowking

Hello all. Quick question for those that have a detroit (truetrac) I bought one on here over the summer and am wondering how the axle stubs should feel. Should it fell like a spool? (All locked up) Just rotating by hand it feels like a spool or locker. Will it react differently once installed ? I will need to steer this truck when plowing snow.

Thanks

yep, that's how it will feel with you trying to run the tires by hand.  Pretty decent unit for an IFS diff.  You'll like it.  I liked mine.

NICE
I still have it on a bench. Took prybars to the 1/2 shafts and they are not locked, just real tight. Guy on here sold it to me for 300.00 shipped with 4.88's I am happy. Did replace one of the 1/2 shafts with new one.
