I'm baaack. Talk about a road trip. 77 hours and 28 of it on the road. Out of the 49 left we wheeled for about 20 of it.

We had a great time and I'd like to thank the Cascade Cruisers for a wonderful event. Ma nature helped out and we got nice weather except it was a little frosty on Sunday morning. Bob cleaned up on the raffle and the dinner was excellent.

the wheeling was good too.

Here's the trip report.

Well, another good trip for the record books. For those of you that don't know, CTW and the Pacific northwest guys are hiding a really nice rock pile up there.

Waterman from Toys on the Rocks and i made the mad dash. We left about 7Pm on Thursday. We got out late due to some work issues and that i had spent the day before with my Mom at the hospital.  She's a chemo patient and is now doing much better. We drove by the hospital and visited for a little while and ended up having dinner at 10:30 in Red Bluff. :meal: I drove some more after that and hit the wall at about 2:20AM Bob took over and got us to Eugene in time for breakfast at 6:30. :driving:

In the parking lot I noticed a green spot on the cruiser. Well it turns out that somewhere between 4 and 6:30 someone was taking pot shots at Godzilla on the hood. There were 4 paintball hits on the cruiser, but none got him.

We stopped in Portland for a few things and made it to Browns Camp around 10:30AM on Friday. That makes it about 28 hours up with a couple cat naps. We then unloaded Cruzila and headed up to find the guys. After getting a little lost. (within radio range but those turns on the map are crazy) we caught up with Desmond, Medusa, W, and a few others from Cascade cruisers.

We wheeled the upper loop of the crushers and then headed back to camp. The FJ Cruiser Teams were there and made a nice "amburger dinner for everyone. Then we had some nice campfire stories and libations. When we finally headed to bed it was about 36 something hours up.

The next day, I slept in (surprise) and waited around for everyone to get out on trail. Then Jack, W, Larry and i went on a "W" trip. We took our time and just kind of relaxed doing a powerline trail, Little Rubicon, some hillclimbs and the newly opened Hogsback trail. The put a 76" filter on it so Jack and W could not make it in without being bad boys. Larry and I drove it without trouble and was met at the other end by the rest of the group. We were headed back over to the Crushers when we realized we had the cook with us and it was getting late

On the way back we did a short climb to the top of a hill I can't remember the name of but was fun nonetheless.

After dinner I walked by Jack and heard the chant of "Crusher Crusher" So, the night run was on. We started down the lower loop and Jack blew a seal on his air/oil separator. After rigging it back together, it held only long enough to get him a few dozen feet. So we decided to only do the top part. When we got to the top, i still had not had enough, so Desmond and I didi the upper loop again while everyone else went back. We got back to camp around 10:30 and found the fire (brrrrr)

Sunday got up and everything was frozen. Darrel cooked us up some flapjacks and we got going around 8:30. We said our goodbyes and headedd out. Another 14 hours on the road and we were home a little after 10PM on Sunday.

So, we did over 1300 road miles, 28 hours road time, maybe 16-20 wheeling and 14 sleeping. Not bad numbers, should I buy a lotto ticket??
