Don't want to but I'm planning on building my toy up more instead...here's what I have:
87 4 dr. XJ- black
6cyl., 5 spd. tranny
np231 t-case
6.5" lift- rough country 4.5" and 2 in. blocks and spacers
(5) 35" tires on 15x8" black rock crawlers
hp 30 front- 4.56 gears, limited slip, diff skid, tie rod flip insert, lower control mount skids....in process of getting new u-joints put in
d44 rear- 4.56 gears, lock right, chromo shafts, diff skid, shock mounts raised up
having drive shafts serviced this week for new joints and balance
rock lights
tinted windows
custom built sliders
frame stiffeners
tank skid
upgraded steering componets
custom built half doors
fenders cut in front/rear quarters cut
quicker disonnects
have custom front bumper with winch mount to put on (will throw in)
cd player- custom speakers
grant steering wheel
motor doesn't leak a drop...all new parts..200,000 miles..runs great

Has been through the Rubicon several times....loves moonrocks, bronco canyon, prison hill, fordyce...and gets around 18 mpg

is it the stock 5 speed? or is it aftermarket. id like to know if its the pujoe

snail, it is the pugeot tranny in it, and the previous owner had the tranny, t-case serviced by jeep. It runs very strong

yeh but the pugeo tranny is crap. the grars strip realy easy sorry bro maybe 3k cause its gona cost me 1200 to do a AX15 swap

yea 1200 if you have a shop do it. less than 400 if you do it yourself and find the parts and junk yards or on the forums....besides do you have any experience with the pugeot or are you taking others words for it? cuz they run just fine if you know how to drive. you must have a heavy right foot

i went throught 2 rebuilds with my last XJ before swaping in an AX15 and the tranny alone rebuilt cost me 800 then i had to have a profetional mechanic rewire everything so it was smog legal. in the end it cost me about 1200 bucks. ill give you 4 cash and thats my final offer. give me a call 510 299 9652

i went throught 2 rebuilds with my last XJ before swaping in an AX15 and the tranny alone rebuilt cost me 800 then i had to have a profetional mechanic rewire everything so it was smog legal. in the end it cost me about 1200 bucks. ill give you 4 cash and thats my final offer. give me a call 510 299 9652
