Hey i got a 91 4cly with the shitty g58 trans/t-case and about to go dual t-cases in the next month or two. When i swap in the w56 do i have to switch over the bellhousings as well? Basicly i don't want to f-with the clutch assembly.

Even if you didn't have to change the bell, youd still have to screw with the clutch, as the bell bolts on to the front of the trans.

I think the bellhousing pattern is different between those trannies, though.  Just swap the whole thing.

i too think the bellhousings are different

as far as the not messeingw with the clutch, is there a specific reason you dotn wnat to mess with it? clutches are quite easy to work on

ahh i've never worked on one before and it would just  add more cash to the situation but i guess it'll be worth it once i get everything bolted up.
