its a narrowed 44. its narrowed 4 inches on the long side and uses a 1980s and newer long side shaft and the short side is still stock. it does make the spring hanger at 27.5 inches so its a little narrower then toyota

1986 Toyota 4Runner 22re 5spd transmission and dual transfer cases (4.7’s in the rear). E-lockers front and rear.

there is a side pic.

as for the front springs i am 84-88 rears up front hybrid pack. and no i have not broken anything so far wit th 40s. i do have an arb in the front so i know thats keeping a lot of stuff alive

Hey, do you have any pictures of your shackle setup? I just got a Chevy 44 for 100 bucks and its going under my 86 Runner sometime in the near future.

here they are. my axle is narrowed as well as the spring perches so it wont be the same as a normal full width 44. they are under the frame with a full width axle u are goin to have to outboard the springs.

here is an updated list of to dos for this summer

Install 4.7s, hydro assist and sliders
get a 14 bolt for the rear and build it do 8 lug in the front.
new clutch and redo the front and rear shocks

hopefully ill have that done by MC6

as of now i have sliders 4.7s and hydro stuff. now i need to look for a new rear end. not sure if i wanna do a 9 inch or some type of full float.

screw the 14 bolt, just stay toyota.  Get a taco rear end if you want a little more width and strength.

yeah i know i worry about the rear breaking. esp the ring gear with 40s.
i do wanna be wider the front with 8 lug stuff will be 65 inches wide. i dont know we will see.

hey, you should move that skid plate to the top of the side plates instead of underneath them.  you will gain 3/4's of an inch of belly clearance!

or you could use a 1" body lift puck and tuck that t-case up a lil more. That is if you got the clearance

yeah right now tho i really don't have the clearance. it already is 1/2 and inch from the cab. this summer ill prolly break out the air hammer and tuck it up further.
