I think they only need one adapter and it should be rotated. Why would someone want a non rotated adapter? There seems to be no draw back, only advantages. The driveline is up out of the rocks, so is the t/case, there's nothing to clearance...

Since the MC10 is a dualcase adapter, the crossmember will be attached to the Crawl Box, which by default is not rotated (it can also be rotated 10 degrees as well) so the whole dualcase can still attach to the stock crossmember even though the t/case is rotated.

A Budbuilt style crossmember won't work with the MC10 (nor the MC09), at the moment, so it doesn't matter if it is rotated or not.

I was wondering :headscratch: Can I use the Auto Chain drive t/c, bolt that using the adapter to the reduction box, and bolt that using the adapter plate to the r150f?  I have an auto tranny and t/c sitting in my garage right know alone with the manual r150f.  I want to think that the 94 auto t/c might be a bit stronger than my 88 t/c.  Is this possible? Thanks for the help

I don't think the auto t/case from 3rd gens can be used for this application.  I think the tranny and tcase are actually pretty much a 1 piece assembly, but I'm not sure.  You're 88 tcase should be fine

I replied to have both, but in saying that I also would prefer it rotated myself just gets it more out of way.

don't think so.  I actually don't think the t-case will work with anything other than that auto tranny.  Mikerob  has an auto 90 truck, and his t-case doesn't look anything like mine (5spd.)  its a different case.

Trust me I know.  The auto tranny is one reason why my 3.0 is lying next to my truck.  Its definitely not going back in.  I'm currently looking for a 3.4 to take its place.  At some point in time I plan on running as large as 42's, what kind of dual case gearing do you guys think would be best for this?  I plan on using the MC10 so I can use my 88 tranny and T/C. Would the 4.7 reduction unit be a good idea to mate to my 2.57 chain drive T/C?  I ask this because I don't want to be running a chain drive case if it cant be handling these gears also if this would be a good set up for 42's.

Ya, I came to that conclusion a few days ago.  Too much.  I plan on just rebuilding my gear case, and leaving the stock gears.  That would be enough.
42's one day maybe, once this is strictly trail that would be sick.
