dtb, not 100% sure, but as far as lockers go, even the lunchbox type, i dont think i have ever seen any regular priced less than 240, usually in the 250-300 range or more

From what i have seen, the "Lock Right" lockers don't hold up too well. have people been having good luck with these?

Westy

I've seen them work fine on friends vehicles. Of course they arent an ARB or Detroit..but they are much cheaper, especially after you figure gear-setup with an ARB or Detroit, whereas a lockright can be setup by anyone.

I ran my lock right in the front end for just over 1 year and it worked flawlessly. Supercharged 3RZ and 35" tires didn't seem to be a challenge for it. Now I have removed it from my truck and installed it into Bevin's truck, which is also 3RZ and now with 37" tires. The lock right I have is a used unit that Rocky replaced the springs in for me. It never clicker or popped. Always worked and was always quiet.

From my experience I can't justify the extra cost of a full Detroit, especially in the front.

I've ran them in my truck, broke them both and not just the sure pins.  They are a very cost affective locker that work's very well.  I do not recommend them for anybody running over a 35 inch tire,  witch is pushing it IF you drive hard.  And mine popped way louder and were less predictable then my Detroit.  Spool is way less money will not brake and handles crappy all the time not when it wants to LOL.  Thanks  CJ

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

I bought them because I was on a budget some time ago. I run 35" tires with a 4.3L vortec and chirp the tires all the time. Over 60k miles on them with out any issues. Definately recommend to those on a budget.
