Hey,  well i have an 84 pick up with 4inch marlin imports. and f-150s in the back, its got some 33 on it now.. and i got new tires for my other truck so i have some 39.5/17/13.50 irocs laying around, and i found some rims for 275 shipped...   i plan on getting 4.70s for the t-case. and 30s longs... i have 4.88s in the diffs, and an aussie in front and marlins spool in the rear.. let me know what you think

i also plan on maybe a 3inch bodylift to help clear the tires. or maybe some 6inch springs.   let me know

Go no more than 2" or even a 1'' using hockey pucks, they are 1'' thick and have great diameter to keep from busting out the floorpan.

I think you should leave it as is. 39's are way too big for a toy axle, even with longs.

well i want bigger tires, and these are free. anyone want to buy set of 39s?

I'm not a big fan of body lifts.

I'm not a fan of Samurai's, and look what I own. Sometimes even though they are an evil vice it has just got to be done. Sure you could break out the sawzall but that inner fender on the firewall gets awful close even with 33's. I did a 2 inch on my 4 Runner and it wasn't all that bad. My brother did a 3 inch on his 4Runner  and another one did a 3 inch on his 91 extracab and they had definite issues they had to overcome. The 4runner was an auto so the shift rods had to be altered and the extracab looked awful funny with only 4 inch's of shifter showing, so those had to be cut and a piece welded in to make them long enough so you didn't have to reach down to shift.

I agree, a body lift is for  :stopit:.  But if you have to get one, I wouldn't get any more than a 1" lift. :twocents:

I've got a 3" body lift on my 83 so I don't have to cut those beautiful round fenders. Don't have any issues with it.

body lifts got a bad name from chevies because they dont know how to cover there frames with the body. evey chevie i see with a body lift you can see straight through the other side. but when i put a 3" on my 81 it just looked like a stock chevie. i always build my blocks out of solid aluminum so that it is stiffer than plastic.
