so i finally got my ass in gear and started my rear bumper. i went down to the local steel shop and bought 1/4 plate, 2x3x1/4, and 2x2x1/4. the 2x3 for the main rear and the 2x2 for the frame slides and such. i used hammerite black paint. which is great b/c you apply it just to clean metal no etching or priming, which is great when you bash it up.

i havn't had a chance to test it yet, BUT im' running holy cross in two weeks and i'm sure i'll catch it at least once.

i like to weld! and this bead isn't too bad considering i'm using a very marginal ac welder.
