its bad when you keep a stock pile of 12 point 12mm and 14mm's sockets,
anyone whos done rods or hg's know what Im talkin bout.

i know... thats why that issue is not unique to the 3.0 and shouldnt be included... its like saying you nkow you have a 3.0 when you have to change the oil.... :rolleyes:

i found out last friday that the 3.slow is worth about $15. Atleast thats what i got from the scrap yard each for my 2 blown 3.0's with rods stickin out the side of the blocks.

I'd say you came up pretty good. 15= 12pack, and last I checked,

is better than the .slo

i agree, but it was great finishing off the last one, it had a bad rod knock, so i pinned it to 5 grand and waited for the fireworks, ran greayt for about 35 seconds than Bang!!! shredded 2 rods, best sound ive ever heard out of a 3.choke

I have a 3.0 with over 200k. Runs like a champ doesnt over heat. Had the head gasket recall done and never touched them again.

mine just died on me after 258,000. original head gaskets, and they were fine when i took them apart.. I think the valves were done.
