My frame Has Cancer
« on: Aug 03, 2006, 09:24:58 AM »
My 83"s rear frame is rusted beyond repair. Just wondering whats the best way to fix this. I'm wanting to put a flat bed on but my bed is whats holding it together now.
the front half is rust free though. Any Ideas what have some of you guys done? :hammerhead:

Chop it off at the cab and go full tube from there back. Then you could integrate your new flat bed into it.

It's probably a lot cheaper and less of a hassle to get a new frame.

If you live in the central valley in California, we have a couple of short and long bed frames here that Marlin might be able to part with.

Hey Mike, why don't you guys use one of those frames to do another FTOY buildup!
