Ive got a 82 4x4 with the stock 4.10 gears.  Im gonna use this truck as a daily driver and a weekend crawler.  Right now its got the 4.10s in it and 31 inch tires.  I wanna know what gear should i get with if i get 33 or 35s.  Ive got a lift on it already so clearance doesnt matter.  I just wanna get a pretty good rpm range around 65 miles per hour.  Around 2250-2700 is a good range for me.  Im thinking about the 33s.  What ratio should i get for the R&P?

in my 83 i've got 4.88. in 4th @ 55 i trun 3100. in 5th @65 i trun about 3250.  I've got bfg 33s. I think that 2700 is a little low for 65. I take it you have a 5spd trans. if not 2700 is WAY to low:laugh:
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

You should decide what tires your going to run before you decide what gears so you can get in your ideal rpm range

dude,  go with the 4.88's and 35's,  2200-2700 is way WAY to slow a rpm for  cruising,  thats where i usually downshift
