double shackle set up?

has anyone ever had problems with their double shackle set up becasue i was thinking about running it? And does anyone have it on the dd

Its on my DD. Axle wrap got bad, so whenever i do burnouts (yes my turd  :moon: truck and 37s can burn out) they unload and the slap the frame and it makes a bunch of bad noise. thats about it.

Mine never slap the frame, i don't know why.  it may be my long shackles or the fact that i keep the bolts loose  :)

pretty much. ive never had them unload on hills too like people say they do. I do keep them somewhat tight though.

this guy i know, so that the two shackles never unload all the way welds a little piece of round metal stock 3/8s thick rod and so you dont have to worry bout them going the oposet way

I welded a piece of 1/4 inch flat stock aboput 2 inches long on the bottom of my stock shackle hanger.  stops the short shackle from inverting.
