Hey I found a mini truck axle for $200 and i was going to use it for my SAS on my 95 toyota pickup, but my uncle said he would take the brake calipers and rotors cause i wont need them, but before he does, will they work with the FJ40 front axle? and if so what do you need to do it? do you need to change the knuckles?
Thanks alot.

He needs the knuckles if he's going to do a disk break swap.

Me thinks your uncle is trying to hose you.  :joke: For a SAS, unless you are going to FJ rotors and IFS calipers, you will need the complete axle. For an FJ conversion, you will basically need from the knuckle out on the mini axle.

Yea im using the IFS calipers and the kit comes with brand new land cruiser vented rotors. how much would it cost to find everything else he would need besides the rotors and calipers??

it will work plus i've hear that after you put truck parts on your cruiser you can go back and add land cruiser rotors and calipers , tell you the truth i've never done this butit's very common it's a time or money thing oh ya i also heard that the birfields are stranger than land cruiser , so give your uncle them outers and a little of your time he don't want to pump them drums on the down hill no more .

I have both knuckles with disk brakes, and the tie rod and arms off a 69  cruiser that was converted. the tie rod and draglink will work with a inside the frame saginaw power steering coversion if the pitman has a early fj taper. they are available. and you are in clovis do you know Noel, with the dozer buggy? haven't talked to him since about a week after his heart attack last year.

My uncle is looking at a 76 now that already has disk brakes, but thanks alot for letting me know, and if he ends up not getting it ill let him know, how much did you want for them? and I can tell him. He already has Saginaw box and it is inside the frame, but is this setup for High steer? And no i dont know Noel, Sorry..
