GOOD GOOD THING YOU PAYED ATTENTION TO YOUR NEW WORK at least all you wasted was a gasket set.....she wasted a complete head....plus had to rebuild a NEWLY built block due to the metal tossed around the engine, hers was a complete rebuild thrashed cuz she didnt pay attention to the fact that her engine was bleeding
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

That is prob what's gonna happen...I don't think 30 seconds is enough time to do any damage.

Well, the good news is I got the head pulled in an hour and a half flat...I'm gettin kinda good at this.
Bad news, Yes HG was on wrong, no it didn't survive.  The oil wasn't the problem, in fact the deck, except for a 2x2 square in that corner, was perfectly clean.  The problem was that the sealant on the front corners wouldn't let go without taking some of the gasket with it.  I am not taking any chances so I am gonna get a new gasket tomorrow.  Maybe toyota has one in stock.

Check your timing, cam and distributor.  If that's set, make sure she got fuel and spark.  Mine fired right up after doing a head gasket swap, well that is after I discovered I had reversed the lines on the fuel pump.  How much did you pay for your OEM Head Gasket?
