I have a 98 dodge ram with a 4 inch lift and it has lift blocks in the rear, the ride is bumpy as  :pokinit: and I think the block are to blame. I wanted to find some 4 or 5 inch lift springs hoping to maybe soften up the ride a little in the rear. Do any of you know any companies I should look at short of ordering some custom ones from alcan? should I go with 4 inch springs or 5 inch springs because of the settling? Or do you guys have any better ideas? It's a mall cruiser so flex doesnt matter, I just want a more comfortable ride.

Thanks guys

I got a 95, I think it s hopeless. Try 100 lbs of sand in the bed.

Just kidding. I don't know that much about springs for these but usually a lift spring is stiffer.

edit oops that was 1000 lbs of sand

If your truck is a 3/4 or 1 ton truck they simply don't ride very well, any brand.  The lift block in combination with stock springs should give a better ride than any lift spring that has the same load capacity.  The same spring rate with more arch will yield a stiffer spring.

If you are willing to give up your load capacity, order a set of custom Alcan springs and you can make it ride as soft as you want.

KORE has a setup that gives a softer ride @ speed but maintains the towing capacity. Don't know if you can get the rear leaf inserts by themselves or if it's only with the full kit. IIRC, the lift is only 2-3" though.
