so i have finally decided that i want to let my 85 go. what im going for is a economy car, and a reason to get my 83 going.
ill throw this out there. im looking for a volkswagen rabbit, preferably a diesel. any other volkswagen if it has a diesel, or a gti. i will consider trading the truck for any of the above mentioned, not interested in anything else at the time.
so as for the truck. it is a 85 efi longbed.
lc engineering street performer longblock w/ big bore throttle body and intake.
r151f tranny and tcase
marlin 1200 pound clutch and stepped flywheel
lc header to catco cat to a magnaflow muffler finished off with a stainless tip! all 2.25" after header.
radiator, hoses, belts, clamps, thermostat, and battery, all new as of september 05
4.10 gears front and rear. ifs rear end. front end had marlink heavy duty tierod, and 1.5" wheelspacers as well as unopened knuckle rebuild kit and wheelbearing kit
one peice rear driveline made by highangle driveline. all new ujoints, 2" tube
the interior has bucket seats, sr5 cluster, clock, alpine deck(60x4), no carpet, all season floormats, kenwood 4" speakers in the dash, pioneer 6x9's behind the seat, cobra cb, tinted winows and a sunroof(slightly leaks)
2" body lift, and 1-1.5" suspension lift. ranch rs5000 rear and offbrand ranco look a likes up front
running on 32x11.5r15 bfg muds. a good 50% on all 5, the spare matches. 15x8 blackstealies
other items are toolbox in the bed, custom bumpers front and rear(installed previous owner).
the truck runs great. the engine ony has roughy 8000 miles on her. i've been changin the oil every 2500 miles. just swithed to mobile one synthetic oil and kn oil filter. at 6500 feet the truck was screaming at a solid 112mph. she does get it on, and i could only imagine at sealevel.
in the pics the truck is dirty, im sorry i live on a dirt road so its the name of the game there. in the pics it doesn't show the new tailights(no there not broken) also doesn't show the marlink or the new black wheels.
