Yet Another Tool Discussion - Circular Saws

In my constant search to find the best cutting tool for me and my little garage with nothing but a 110 outlet, I came across several different types of steel cutting blades for circular saws.  Does anyone have any experience with these?  Both the toothed blades and the consumable cutt=off wheel type bl;ades?  How is it for speed...one of my biggest issues is cutting with the grinder can take a while for longer cuts in 3/16 - 1/4 inch sheet.  I worry that my neighbors will get mad about the noise (apartment complex).  If I could cut my cutting time down, that would be a huge help.

Whatever you get, make sure the RPM rating for the blade is as much as, or greater than the RPM rating for the saw. If you go with a metal blade, get the carbide tipped, they're worth it.

Craftsman twin cutter it is a catalog only item around here they don't stock them but they are awesome on metal.  A good investment for 179.99

A cicular saw for cutting metal will take a while and could be dangerous if it kicks back. I have a special blade I use for diamond plate aluminum, but would not think about using it on steel.

A sawsall would be better if you use it right Maybe even a small band saw would be a good investment. Oxy. Acy. would work too, but there will be some grinding involved after.

Plasma is the best way, but costly.

Wish I had room for an air tank, I'd get a plasma, but that is for later.  I may just have to keep on with the cut off ont he grinder?
