it will give better flex offroad

onroad it will give that same flex, which can be undesirable

some people will tell you its fine without them on the street, some will say its scary on the street without them, both will say it will allow more flex out of the vehicle

i have run my truck without on since i lifted it, i like the way it drives

it all depends, its personal prefference, some say its scary to drive without it, some say its cool to drive without it, do it, drive it, and see if you like it or not, I cant tell how YOU will like/dislike it
