When i turn there seams to be a flat spot when the wheels are straight and a knocking sound while turning. if i jack up the front and shake the tires there is no side to side play.... i'm thinking its the ifs box... any ideas?
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~

Is there any play in your steering shaft between the firewall and the box?

Don't think So but thats a place i didn't check.. thanks.

ya the play seems to be in the box were that flat spot is... looks like its time to find a diffrent box.
