Actual tire height
« on: Apr 15, 2006, 01:06:32 PM »
I have 36" tsl/sx swampers, they fit great and was wonderin if 37" mtr would fit, height wise.  If someone has measured the height at say 30psi from the top of the tire to the street I would like to know.  Thanks

If I can find a tape measure I will go out and measure in just a bit.

When I got them they were only 36 5/8" brand new. Now they are about 65% tread. Ill go check it out.

I've been in the same place as you, I originally had 36" swampers, and switched to 37" MTR's on the same wheels, and the MTR's were a little tighter than the old swampers with a little rubbing in the back which I never had before. It surprised me because I was always under the impression that swampers measured more true than MTR's so I thought that the MTR's would be effectively the same height as the swampers but no such luck, had to do some fender trimming. So while I don't have the measurements I will say the MTR's were a noticably taller, you'll love them!

Yup, my measurements are consistent with the above ones.. When Marlin got his 37" MTRs new, I measured them to be about 36-13/16" or 36-7/8"
