My mom called me yesterday and asked me how big my winch was.  She told me that she found a champion winch at Costco and wondered if I wanted it.  I told her sure because hey I could put it on the back of my rig as a backup.  Its an 8000 lbs. winch.  It comes with a mounting plate, snatch block, and roller fairlead for only $300.

Tell me what you guys think.  This is the closest thing I've found about them on the internet and this one is only a 7500 lbs. version but its almost identical minus the weight .

I figure it is a cheap winch, you get what you pay for. That being said, I would run it as a back up winch. I bet it's pretty slow, but it will work. If you need a backup winch go for it.

hahaha well my mom isn't your typical mom.  When I was younger she'd be the mom that took me and all my friend dirt biking and would suprise me with new riding gear.

Cool mom, never heard of that winch but a quick search provided their website.

The specs on that aren't actually too bad...higher loads are a bit slow on the line speed, but other than that it don't look any worse thana Milemarker...maybe even better with the integrated controller.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Like I said, the line speed is a bit slower, but it should work just fine.  LET US KNOW!
