cool is fordyce just as fun as the con? if its closer to sac then it must not get that much snow right?

Geno

I might hit up Fordyce.
OFRD_GRL – as much as i appreciate strip clubs, i could never date a chic. they are all flopin crazy.

Hyena

there will probly be snow there too.  It's up almost to truckee.  About 30-45 minutes from Auburn.  It is pretty fun.  There is no Little Sluice of Fordyce but some spots can get hard.

AlphaRedRooster

I will also be going to Fordyce for Memorial.  It will be my first time, we(my brother and I) will tagging along with a group from the Sacramento area.  Sounds like a blast but I am worried about the crossings.  Can anyone tell me what it is like?

if I remember right there are 4 crossings, it all depends on how much water they are letting out but you can keep an eye on the flows here http://www.dreamflows.com/, sites down right now but check back on it.

the creek at fordyce isn't bad as long as the water cfm is not out of control.  This is how it was when I went there in july
that was the deepest creek and that truck only has 35's the jeep that got washed away was when the creek was at over 500cfms

depends on when the snow melts, look at that link kyota posted and find out on any specific day what the cfms are.  That is fordyce creek
