it's already got the ARP head bolts, the guy who did the original gasket change (when it blew the first time  ::) ) only used a composite gasket, so naturally the turbo baked it and it blew again...but this time we'll do it right! I'm so excited about this thing...Collin (the bf) is jealous beyond belief because it's the white with burgundy interior, and he loves it. I can't wait to rock the targa either!

I almost forgot..C's also got another 7m block in his garage, with the lapping done already, and the pistons bored over with clevite (i think it was clevite...maybe not) rings and everything...not sure what we're planning to do with that one though. it's only got 30k miles on it too. we're still mainly in the planning stages.

If you have a good running 7M then you have Rods/Pistons good for 500HP if it's build right.  Tune it with a wideband 02 and a careful eye, and it'll run great!  The hardest part is keeping enough fuel in it to keep it from detonating.  No need for fancy forged stuff unless you want the peace of mind.  Mine lays down 418RWHP on race fuel on a STOCK bottom end.  I've never even had the oil pan off of it- it's the way it left Japan in 1987.

That's the trouble with these cars tho, they'll cost you a fortune!

Alyssa- Mine's pearl white with a burgandy leather interior too.  No targa tho, which is good and bad...

well it is a jap  block=jspec?  with less then 30,000   the turbo has cremtic berrings.
the vac hoses are a mess do 2 the maifolds being diffrent.  NO EGR   i wana pull off all the vacum mess i can and only keep what i need.    I broke the vac switch on the thrmasta housing  so i was thinking of yanking the car canister  but not shore if thats a good idea.

no, the spare isn't JDM, it's a US market block, so everything for smog is there. It was out of a burgundy 91 he had a few years ago that got a 2JZ-GTE swapped into it.
