Its a limited 4x4 runner...got a bad motor...has no title..everything works except the motor is locked he said..is it worth 800.00

No title scares me off. I would hate to buy it fix it and get it the way I want only for the original owner to show up and collect it and my but end up in jail for grand theft auto. If I did consider buying it I would be doing a title search at the DMV and find out who the previoius titled owner was and tell them you are cionsidering buying it and would like to get the title

I bought a willy heep one time this way in another state I went thru the hassle just because I wanted the jeep (what was I thinking?).
