coil springs

I was thinking of getting rid of my all-pro rear springs and replacing them with coils. Have any of you swapped your rear springs for the coils?

I also have a couple friends that have gone to coils. One did it the normal way of cutting everything  that was leaf spring off his original frame and coverting it, the other cut off the rear of the truck and welded in the rear section of a coiled 4Runner.

Funny that those of us with coiled 4runners are cutting off the coils and running leafs.

Well, if the ideal of excluding the lesser equipped (stock or otherwise) is accepted... there is no fundamental difference between that and a Sierra CLub ideal of exclusion. If we cannot embrace the 4wheel users as a whole. We are not fighting for access. I cannot be that shortsighted

i have the 6.5 inch springs on mine. Is it hard to find a coil spring that will settle to where my truck sits level?
