narrowing frame
« on: Mar 11, 2006, 09:13:08 AM »
been doing some research on narrowing my rear frame and am curious if this is still within the formula toy guidlines. From what it says on the website:

 Cage / Chassis / Body

Safety cage built by an approved vendor
Frame must be Toyota Pickup or 4Runner frame, 2wd or 4wd

so i guess that if you wanted to, you could run a narrowed frame?

looking at the other formula toy builds gets me wondering, is it "legal" to run a narrowed toyota frame? I havn't seen it on any of the other rigs, but, from what the rules state:

Cage / Chassis / Body

Safety cage built by an approved vendor
Frame must be Toyota Pickup or 4Runner frame, 2wd or 4wd

can you do this mod to the frame and still be within regs?
