info engine swap 20r to 22re

hey guys
I just buy a 85 4runner that was wrenck and taking the engine out of it and putting in my 80truck what do I need to put in the my truck

you are going to need all the electronics, pretty much going to need to remove everything from the donor and put it in the 80... check out bigbluewillys' and lilbuddys thread, they are going efi

engine and the entire wireing harness  for the engine and guages

i don't know why you'd need a seperate wiring harness for the gauges.  they'll all plug and play the same if you splice the wires.  but hey, some people like doing things the hard way...

im in the same boat as you ive got all the parts sitting in the shop just waiting to go in when i get the motor rebuilt i took every peace of wiring from the doner rig and i mean every peace the dash the heater core the motor the fuel lines the gas tank pritty much the whole truck i plan on making an aluminum dash and putting all the 85 goodies in the aluminum dash
