Diff Flange Question
« on: Mar 09, 2006, 02:16:28 PM »
are the flanges on all toyota 8" thirdmembers interchangeable? what about the flange from an IFS diff to a 4cyl 8" diff?

I'm doing an SAS and had a square drive shaft made using my old IFS driveline and need to know if i can swap the flanges or if i should just buy Marlins tripple drilled flanges? help me out...

Well you should buy Marlin's triple drilled flanges, but all of the flanges are interchangeable that I know about, except for the bolt pattern.

This is were the triple drilled flanges come in.

Not 100% on the IFS flange though.

Willy is right. (as always) they are all the same except for the bolt holes. :turtle:

You can also drill your own flanges, just rotate the driveline so the holes are evenly spaced apart, mark and drill.  Just be very careful when it's about to poke through.
