questions about tracker transfercase
« on: Mar 04, 2006, 05:38:41 PM »
have an 87 sami that i'm gonna be doing a lot of fab work on, but i'm trying to do it on the cheep. i was thinking about puting a set of 4.16 gears in and also mating up a tracker transfer case but i was wondering if any of you guys know it that tracker case will mate with the stock sammi 5 speed. i'll be running 37s with toy axles that probably have 4.10 gears in them so i know i need more than just the 4.16 reduction. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

if m not mistaken trackers and sidetracks  are the same,  if you get a sammi tcase,  get a 2wd tracker tranny  and boom your golden

My buddy just sent his Sami case to OTT to have them double it to a Sidekick case, $600 to do it.  His Sami case has the 6.0 (I think) in it and the 'kick case is stock.
