there was a thread around here a few weeks ago with a link for a video of a guy drining his auto yota with duals. I tried searching and cant find the link or the thread. I think it was and adapter from advance adapters but im not positive.

I believe that is the only automatic tranny that is possibile for a dual case set up. "J" style shift 4wd stick pattern.

No marlin makes a transmission adapter and the MC-09 for it. Then its just bolting it all together.
You can use a RF1A reduction box and then you have the choice of using the VF2A( tundra/Tacoma) chain drive with a left(driver side) out put or the older style RF1A gear drive with a right ( passenger side) out put.  The thing with the chain driven T/C is that the  reduction box on the front is still gears so you can keep the stock 2.56 in the crawler box(off the RF1A) at the front and put 4.0 or 4.7 gears in the back.
That way you can have run the setup about four ways :
    on the road
         crawler box 1:1
      reduction box 1:1
T/C 2WD or 4WD(2HI or 4HI) with shift on the fly

On the road with a little extra pull
         crawler box 2.56:1
     Reduction box 1:1
                    T/C 2WD or 4WD (2HI or 4HI) with shift on the fly

Off the road
           crawler box 1:1
     reduction box    4.7:1
                      T/C 4LO

OFF THE ROAD (LOCK AND LOADED)
          crawler box 2.56:1
      reduction box 4.70:1
                    T/C 4LO

That means you can run in four modes
1     straight road gears( all 1:1) with 2HI to 4Hi shift on the fly
2     road gear with reduction and shift on the fly
3    off road with a little reduction NO shift on the fly( your in 4LO)
4    off road full reduction NO shift on the fly (your still in 4LO)

Now if I can figure a way to put a stick on the T/C's reduction box then you could run it independent of the T/C and keep 2wd to 4wd shift on the fly in all modes as you would only be connecting and disconnecting the T/C and not changing gears in the boxes.

Hope this helps. :crossed:
