this is my 83 Toyota. i am building it for the rocks and tight trails. it runs on 38"tsl and has 5.29 in the axles. the front has been upgraded with the 30 spline longfields to keep it together. the rear suspension i built myself and i used rear grand Cherokee coils. the front suspension is rear leaf with some modification. i get about 30" of travel in the rear and about 20" in front. i am currently working on putting a Toyota auto in (30-80LE) with a duel case.

This trail is up in Sandpoint Idaho. we went on my birthday witch is in Jan. and the trail we normally run is to difficult. so we just go on this one . the trail we normally go on is a steady climb up a mountain witch is covered with granite rock. when there is snow on the ground the rocks turn into ice and its dam near imposable.

all the materials i went to the scrap yard and spent about 30$.the joints were about 100$ and the inserts i made my self. the coils i went to the junk yard and pulled  off of and jeep grand Cherokee. the front were to stiff so i used the rear. so in all it was about 250-300$ which isn't bad.
