What were you doing to break a 4.10 Ring Gear?

What is wrong in the other picture?  It looks like some of the steering bolts might have broken?

the 4:10 third exploded due to the rear end being so loaded up the leaf spring bent. and yes the front 2 high steer bolt sheered right off in a recovery operation from the third exploding. if any one has a third, high steer studs or cone washers please pm me. thanks

Ok, your rear 3rd member self destructed, did it have a limited slip or locker installed?  The resulting release of force bent a rear leaf spring and in the process of recovery you were pulling on the steering?  Funny things happen when in recovery mode.

the rear is welded. while in a tight spot i attempted to back loading up the rear end and bending a leaf spring at the same time, i think the shock of backing up did the damage.
